CALLING ALL FRESHERS AND RETURNERS
Sign ups for pre term is now open for all prospective students returning and joining in September 2023.
Pre-Term is a week long event hosted by the Southampton University Symphony Orchestra which involves daily rehearsals, socials catered for everyone and a concert at the end of the week before freshers week starts. This is a chance to meet fellow musicians and get a taster to what music societies are like. We promise it will be loads of fun!
The Repertoire we are playing during this week are Grieg’s 4 Symphonic Dances, Saint-Saëns’s Danse Macabre, Respighi’s Pines of Rome, Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia and Mendelssohn’s Athalia Overture.
